Bashful and Blush
Name this movie:
"Pink is my signature color. "
I'll give you another hint:
"My colors are blush and bashful...I have chosen two shades of pink, one is much deeper than the other."
Pink. It can be so girly that sometimes we deliberately avoid it in decor, and that can be a big mistake. I did some light internet searching and mostly found out a lot about chakras and crystals, but they seem to agree that pink can bring on the following feelings:
Calm and Serenity
Neutralize disorder or dampen frustration
Relaxation
Acceptance
Contentment
Whether you are New Age-y or not, the right shade of light pink can provide peaceful surroundings, while the hotter hues of pink can enliven your space. I've tried to order them from blush to bashful.

This artwork is perfectly paired with the soft pink walls - they give the space such a nice warm feeling.
This is the dressing area I have always dreamed of. The color is a perfect ballet slipper shade.
This spot is definitely the perfect place to relax for an afternoon catnap or to catch up on some reading.
I love the Lilly Pulitzer look of these paisley walls! So preppy and perfect for a beach cottage.
Pink flowers and pink trim give this cottage personality.
This is a perfect example of how a shot of hot pink can liven up a space.
Here the glam factor is upped significantly by hot pink.
As someone who posses two Preppy Handbooks, I will always advocate pairing this shade of pink with chartreuse. I'll never outgrow it!
Don't be afraid to experiment with unexpected color combinations that involve bold pinks. Orange and white work so well with the fuchsia wall here.
HOLY. MOLY. This is as hot as it gets.
SIDE NOTE: Check out how that well-placed mirror makes the room look like it goes on to infinity.
