I have several nice places to read in my house, but when I have a book in my hand, I almost always end up on my recliner or bed. That's not good because it makes it too easy for me to drift off to sleep. I startle awake when the book starts to fall out of my hands, then I back up a few lines to get back in the flow of what I'm reading. I repeat this cycle until it becomes ridiculous, then I give up and lay the book down, splayed on my lap or stomach or pillow. It's a wonder that I ever finish a book.
At the top of my ever-shuffling TBR list at the moment are:
The Woman in the Library by Sulari Gentill
The Cartographers by Peng Shepherd
The Christmas Train by David Baldacci
