Tall Ceilings, LVLs, Light Management
ceiling
nice moulding design with the ceiling
nice way to hide structure with the skylight
there's a skylight built into the outside patio for the house
nice way to add a skylight where there appears to be an addition or cut into the attic space. This could work in our kitchen behind the knee wall in the attic over the island. Also interesting how they did the bump out into the door way. Not sure I like that at all.
like the wood trim details on this ceiling. makes it really special for a small space
exposed support beams.
use of upper windows in the attic space? to add light is very nice. I think this is a remodel
very nice moulding to hide the lvl support in the wall. Could easily be done in the kitchen area
bead board on the taller ceiling to change it up. Looks like that room was the addition given how low the kitchen ceiling is.
nice skylight in the kitchen. This could work with tubes in our kitchen
I like the way they framed out the LVL support into the kitchen by the island. Would like this better than no delineation because it separates the space in keeping with the rest of the house.
neat use of windows in bedroom
Huge arched window on stone wall. beautiful
neat way to open up the wall the kitchen, create a low divider that hides the mess but offers open feeling and go into the attic space for taller ceilings with exposed beams simply painted white. cottage look
very nicely trimmed out skylights with deep wood pockets and wood ceiling.
nice tray ceiling the tis painted dark in the center
this is in carmel. older bungalow with small updates. love the way the walls were handled and the sandy colored walls.
tray ceiling with nice angles and simple moulding. local contractor
interior brick wall and built in shelves & fireplace with extremely tall ceilings
support beam hidden under casing in ceiling is well done
