Modern Bathrooms: Great Ideas to Steal
Bathroom remodeling season has begun! I've noticed a trend in bathroom remodels popping up in the Spring so much more than the rest of the year...perfect timing for a bathroom ideabook.
It's not easy to find inspiration for modern bathrooms that are minimal but not sterile. Who says modern bathrooms have to be devoid of personality or texture? Bringing in wood tones, mixing tiles, playing with scale, and selecting stylish light fixtures are all great ways to create a unique bathroom.
When in doubt use white as your backdrop and add color with bright accent tiles, paint or a piece of furniture. And don't forget the window treatments! This is a great opportunity to bring in texture without blocking light. Try roman shades in natural materials such as bamboo.

Floating vanities are all the rage -- and they give the illusion of a bigger space. (Especially with all this glass!)
Think beyond canned lights. A Nelson bubble lamp makes the space!
Adding a thick border to the top of the wall - genius!
Perfection! Double vanities with plenty of storage in a Teak toned wood. Great neutral color scheme with plenty of warmth.
Bring in some color with a bold vanity.
Great idea: Mount sconces directly on the mirror rather than on the sides.
