Tiny Spaces with Big Style
Space is in limited supply for city dwellers like me. Not only am I challenged with lack of space (and storage) in my own apartment, but also in the planning and design of my client's spaces. One thing I have learned: A small space can be just as chic as a larger one (possibly even quirkier and more fun!)
Often restrictions on space encourage us to think outside the box, resulting in unique and practical solutions. With the right planning and clever tricks a tight space can be turned into a functional office, reading nook, or a cozy bedroom.

Built-ins and wall mounted sconces create a cozy living space.
Short on wall storage? Use your ceiling as a bookshelf!
Large mirrors reflect light, and are a surefire winner for any small space.
Love this one! The curtain separating the bed is functional and adds softness to the masculine space.
Open shelving provides a much lighter feel than standard upper cabinets.
Little, but chic, guest room.
A tiny landing at the top of the stairs becomes a quiet workspace for one.
