Telos, thanks for the heads up on the supplier, I've been drooling over the containers since seeing them at True Food Kitchens (San Diego) but hadn't ordered. The garden center has some that aren't as nice but also can get them without feeling ripped off.

Global Syn-Turf - Artificial Grass Supplier
Denise Vilim, (I hope this is helpful even though it's been almost four years since your comment, haha) having an artificial turf lawn is becoming a norm now. Its prevalence has been catalyzed especially by water shortages in the Southwestern United States. It's extremely common for a homeowner with artificial turf to have their entire yard covered therewith. While a slight amount of homeowners encounter problems with their neighbors and HOAs, for the most part the feedback we've received from people after they've converted to synthetic is that, not only do their neighbors not mind it, but many end up actually knocking on their doors asking about how they too can install artificial grass in their own yards!
