that is some of the ugliest interior design I've ever seen.....no taste and its depressing. are you serious ? its really not that creative either. its all very boring.

re zanzi1's comment and John's response, the facade at ground level does have a forbidding, closed aspect. Reminds me of Italy's fortress-like palazzi, such as Medici in Florence. It is exclusive, leaving no doubt that what is happening inside is strictly not the business of anyone passing by. The cut-work and the retractable upper facade don't ameliorate that. Each to their own, but a city full of such architecture would be a disaster.

as a native New Yorker I totally get it. The energy and life of Manhattan is undeniable. To have the option to let it in or tune it out is beautiful. Urban living can be innovative and beautiful. Well done!
