Minor back yard
My yard has long sharp angles. So I am drawn to curves. But I’m not sure if I should fight the sharp angles or embrace them. I like the different areas in the yard, they are different but coordinate. I like everything to looks planned and coordinate, not eclectic. That is why I want to start with a big plan before attaching the projects.
Creating zones. When zoning your yard, think about where you could add an extra space to relax. Perhaps you could break up some flower beds the way the designer did here. A pathway leading to a bench and shed at the back of the yard is interrupted by a deck along the way. The shaded spot provides a place to rest while adding a touch of character to the design as a whole.
