It is rumored that Mrs. Kennedy’s staff changed her sheets daily, and sometimes twice daily if she took an afternoon nap. This elegant French set would definitely have helped her get her sleep.
During the Kennedy’s White House years, beds were dressed with bedspreads, but comforters and duvets are the trend today. Mrs. Kennedy might select this elegant set for her bedroom today.
This French headboard would go very well with the chest. It can be altered to fit either a queen or king bed. She might have also added a canopy crown above it.
Jackie was a fan of cashmere, and this cashmere blanket would definitely be a necessity for her bed.
While looking through photos of Jackie, we spotted two lamps similar to this one in the background. She had a weak spot for crystals.
Rather than two mismatched nightstands, these two with inlaid wood would be more to her liking. She would have a place to put her glass of water, clock and latest read.

Mrs. Kennedy took her correspondence very seriously. She was known to be an excellent letter and note writer, and took great pride in the friendships she maintained through the written word. We think she would have liked this secretary desk. She was fond of adding some Eastern style to her decor, and the chinoiserie design would do just that. This also provides a sleek and clean-lined place for her to store her precious books.
This French chair would offer the style, elegance and comfort that she would need while sitting at her writing table or vanity.
Jackie Kennedy loved color but didn’t go overboard with it. Most of her outfits were brightly colored plain fabrics. She wore lots of reds, oranges, greens, pinks and apricots, and we think she would have liked this color for a plain, unadorned love seat for her bedroom’s sitting area.
Mrs. Kennedy often liked tone-on-tone in her decorating. We think this rug would be the perfect choice as a companion to her brightly colored sofa.
We imagine that Jackie would have liked a bench in her dressing room or at the end of her bed as the perfect place to put on and take off her shoes. This one has the comfort and style she’d have wanted.
Jackie loved a good chandelier. Although some might think of her style as stodgy when compared to today's decorating, others would consider it timeless. We think this chandelier is timeless.
Her staff probably took great care in keeping her elaborate wardrobe in its best condition. We bet she had a bunch of elegant padded hangers in her closets.
We think she would enjoy these large bars of Pre de Provence soaps in their many different colors and scents.
