Furniture you would expect to find in a century-old home now looks just as fitting in any modern environment. Generally crafted from the wood of deconstructed buildings, reclaimed wood furniture and accessories are finding new relevance in interior design — and more specifically in green design. But you don't have to be a tree hugger to appreciate the well worn look of a reclaimed piece. The irony lies in the fact that it's indisputable beauty is found in its imperfections. No two pieces are exactly alike. Each piece has a rich patina that only nature can provide, and each design exhibits both eco-responsibility and style.
The enclosed wooded structure maintains its deep roots in this newly constructed space. Raw, unfinished timbers perfectly balance the presence of stainless steel and keeps the room from feeling cold.
