kitchen/dining colors
Janet Broaddus I painted over oak, cherry, pine, mahogany, walnut and some manmade materials. I'm always pleased that this paint or my home made mixture, covers very well. You can find the product or the homemade version online: Annie Sloan chalk paints. Online classes posted by bloggers will teach you how to apply the paint ( with no sanding or prepping!!). On my family room, dinning room and living room furniture I used Annie's clear glaze followed by the dark glaze. This formula is also good on ceramic, plastic, etc. A tip that looks great and saves time: I paint the hardware the same color, looks fabulous and after sanding to show a little " age" , everyone agrees. Good luck.
Michael Abrams Limited Try Benjamin Moore's Woodlawn Blue or Wedgewood Gray, both very soothing colors for a bedroom.
