Idea of the Week: Upholster a Door
Green Faux Leather, Brass Nails and Vintage Push Plate Completes This Look
This week's Houzz Tour from Lisa Borgnes-Giramonti had no shortage of inspirational ideas. In fact, narrowing it down to just one for our Idea of the Week was the real issue. But in the end, her faux-leather-clad door was the feature we all couldn't stop talking about.
According to Borgnes-Giramonti, upholstered doors were common in English country estates, where they would help muffle the noise coming from the servants' quarters. She replicated the style with green faux leather and brass nails. A vintage-inspired push plate completes the look.
