That's interesting: The town of Collioure has inspired a long list of artists including Matisse, Picasso and Dali.
Along the side walls of the apartment, a cleverly concealed kitchen holds everything one needs. Admittedly, I had to quickly take pictures after 5 of us had descended upon the apartment, food shopped, made coffee, enjoyed the local wine and unpacked, so it's definitely looking lived-in. The nave and belfry you see to the far left is Notre Dame des Anges. The belfry was built during the Middle Ages. The nave was built in 1684. The apartment is in the castle-shaped building immediately to the right of the nave, and the water laps right up to its walls during high tide.
