A Touch of Gray
When I used to think of gray, I'd think of prison walls, or bad weather. However, I've been seeing so many beautiful gray rooms on Houzz lately that the color has captured my attention. It's neutral, it's elegant, and it's soothing. Gray works well with all kinds of wood, is lovely with silver and mirrors, makes white really pop and is a great backdrop for other colors to be the stars (I especially love it with plum or with yellow).
I'm pretty new to liking gray so much so I'm still learning what works. Have you used gray in your home? Do you have a favorite shade from a paint manufacturer? Where have you used it?

This room has traditional bones but textiles and the light fixture keep it modern. No, I don't know who makes that wallpaper, but if you do, let us know in the comments!
White, gray and that subtle touch of plum - Sublime!
I'm not even sure if this is green-gray or brown because of the lighting, but I threw it in here anyway.
Even though this dining room is painted gray, it is still nice and light.
The backsplash in this kitchen is just the perfect amount of gray.
This tile in different shades of gray catches the eye but doesn't appear too busy.
Ah, blue-gray. Perfect as a kitchen accent color.
Here silver gray is sleek and modern.
Gray goes so well with silver, clear glass and mirrors.
I'd love to see how this medium gray looks in the morning, at noon, and at night. It seems like the mood of the room could completely change.
A gray floor can hide a multitude of sins.
