Idea of the Week: Engage the Senses at Home
This week's ideabook detailing the home of Coco Chanel was, not surprisingly, quite a glamorous one. That lady sure knew how to live. While most of us probably can't have someone spray our homes with Chanel No. 5 before we arrive home each day, there's still a nugget of good living that everyone can glean from the action.
Having a signature scent for your home — perhaps a bouquet of roses, a favorite candle, heck, even your laundry detergent — is a little luxury most anyone can afford. Equating a lovely scent with your homelife will help you breath a little easier when you walk in that front door, and guests will in turn associate that good scent with you. Who wouldn't want that?
