Designing a lovely life with five children in tow. ... More
There are five children living in my home, which adds up to a lot of artwork. If you were to show up at our house on any given night, you would see paintings, drawings and comics proudly displayed on the fridge, piled up on the table and spilling over the countertops. While it's not logical to keep every work of art, I do like to keep a sampling of our favorite masterpieces for display.
Families everywhere are showcasing their children's art from the breakfast nook to the bathroom. See how they're doing it, then implement the ideas in your own home.

An obvious place to display children's artwork is in their own rooms. Try a different spin on things by using clothespins to attach pictures to twine for an inexpensive display solution.
Creating a casual gallery wall in a hallway is a great way to showcase your children's latest work. By attaching similar frames to the wall without the glass, you will be able to replace pieces as your children's work develops.
Children love painting on stretched canvas. A picture rail offers a great way to display art in a modern, minimalistic way.
Along with painted pictures, children come home from school with other art projects that are display worthy. Grouping them and displaying them in a craft corner can get your own creative juices flowing.
Grouped in similar frames, these casual works of art fit right in with the cozy decor of this breakfast nook.
Carefully selecting a few favorite masterpieces and hanging them as in an art gallery will add a level of sophistication to your children's artwork.
Displaying your kids' artwork alongside pieces from other favorite artists will not only bring personality to your home, it will surely bring a smile to the faces of your children.
A few times a year my children come home from school with ceramic art projects. Displaying them together on the top of a bookcase brings greater attention to their work.
