5 Trends From the 2024 Milan Furniture Fair

The trends we‘ve been seeing over recent months were cemented and developed. Extra-large items have gained even more generous dimensions, while sofas feature soft, rounded lines that radiate relaxation. Furniture has become a playful interplay of shapes and components, where boundaries are blurred and styles continue to influence one another.

In addition to natural, eco-compatible, recycled materials sourced from certified supply chains, we see a growing pull toward conscious production processes and a preference for modular configurations that can be easily transported. Read on to discover the key trends that emerged from 2024’s Salone del Mobile.

Sustainability was at the heart of this year’s Salone, with brands encouraging us to respect our planet, to choose materials that are kind to the environment and to opt for products that have been consciously designed to stand the test of time. Understanding where our furniture comes from and showing an interest in the manufacturing phases has taken on a new level of importance.
