Can I speak to someone instead?Whenever possible, you will also get a call from someone on at Houzz. This part of the service and will allow you to chat by phone to a real person – an intermediary on the Houzz Concierge team. You can talk in layman’s terms about what kind of project you’re planning and what sort of professional help you might need.Once that’s established, the team will then – basically – do the legwork for you. They’ll find suitable local professionals and sound them out, before introducing you only to the ones who seem like the best fit.
So I would say, that they would hear from a ‘couple of selected pros’ as if we tell them they would hear from 5-6 pros they may feel like they are going to be bombarded and may not want to make the inquiry. As in reality in competitive areas such as central london they may hear from 5-6 pros, but in rural areas they may only hear from 1 pro. So i think if we can be as vague as possible in terms of the number of pros that will reach out to them that would be great.I think it would be worth mentioning that our in-house concierge team will try to reach out to them to help assist them find the most suitable pro for them based on their needs. We can say Houzz is proud to offer this as I don’t think any of our competitors offer a concierge service where we dig deeper and really try and match the Homeowner with the best fitting pro.Oh and the PM questionnaire is not just in the directory it is dotted about the Houzz website, also appear on the main page:

Next, they’ll scan through all the pros in your area who may be right for your project. Then they’ll contact the shortlist and come back to you with an even shorter list – up to five professionals who now know exactly what you’re after, think they can help, and are ready to chat – and then set up a meeting, if you’d like to.
Once the questionnaire is completed, Houzz’s matching technology gets to work, providing you with carefully matched pros who also work in your area. You’ll then receive the contact information and Houzz profiles of those pros so that you can explore working with them in your own time. They’ll also be sent your details and may give you a call or drop you a line.
