I agree with the other comments too. I planted my Plumeria clippings in the Spring after storing them in a dry and dark shed over the winter and the cuts where completely calloused by spring. I planted (5) Plumerias in-ground, 2 to 3 feet apart because at the time I didn't know any better, but they still bloomed during the first warm season. Of course they went dormant over the winter but now it's spring again and they are just starting to bloom again as the weather is getting warmer. I live in SoCal where we experience summers at over 100 degree ferenheit and winters under 50 degrees ferenheit. I am amazed that my plants have survive their first year in-ground. Tip: Feed your Plumerias with used coffee grounds every 3 weeks or so, and water it 2 to 3 times per week over the hot summer and watch it bloom! Just remember that these plants go dormant during the winter.
