"Why is someone in the United Kingdom so concerned about our affairs in the US and make it their personal mission to kick a man when he's down? We get it, they had a mirage of a business but people are getting full refunds. It takes time to get to everyone. Chargebacks cost $50-$100 per incident & reduces their ability to refund everyone and only enriches the bank.
So this thread was left up as a warning... but all roses have been removed from their website so no one can order them anymore. No longer selling roses, refunds issued (many people incl me got full refunds) ... now it's just a busybody with a pitchfork who has no standing (not having purchased from GRLLC, don't live in the US) inserting themselves in the middle of the action phoning up David Austin, the District Attorney, the BBB, local extension office, local police, detectives, CC companies and telling everyone to do the same."
My feeling is that the Fishers are on, what, strike 5? Check kiting in Lancaster, the lifetime concierge business, the guy in the music store, and embezzling money from the Rose society. Encouraging people to go to the police isn't being a busybody at this point, it's trying to get this guy stopped so he doesn't up and move to some other poor community and exploit those people.
You'll notice each con involves him learning how to ingratiate himself with a new type of community and develop trust, then BAM, he starts to take. Pretty sure he needs the book thrown at him so he stops hurting people whose only crime is wanting to purchase his goods and not be exploited or harmed while doing so.
