I live on 5 acres with horses, donkeys, cats, and dogs. We have a side door we use all the time, but it’s through the laundry room. It’s not very room, especially once you take into account the coats and boots. Unfortunately almost every single person who comes over also uses the side door because it’s right next to the driveway. Trying to make this small working space attractive is an uphill battle!
I hear ya houseofgodsmith..maybe get a another builder type person to check out your space and come up with ideas? Different perspective?? Know out walls?
Any other space to use.. move washer/dryer? I have my washer in one place and dryer in another..mostly hang clothes to dry..even have a "sheila" an English hanging clothes dryer...raise and lower by a pulley.
Our side door is our back door also..I've reconfigured it (moved out washing machine and dryer) and am now planning to widen utility room door way considerably..my husband is groaning..I'm ADHD and not real swift at completing projects!! LOL
