This isn’t about painting, but I think you would like the result if you were to have your two trees that flank the entrance both limbed up and selectively pruned to thin out. It would allow the front of your beautiful home to really be seen much better, while still keeping the character of two beautiful anchoring trees. We had two very dense large 50’ trees that developed a fungus because they were so dense they could not get enough air circulation. I know that’s not the case with yours, but it was amazing how much prettier ours looked ( to our surprise) after being thinned out. Ours are out by the street end of our front yard and not close to the house, but they were still blocking much of the view of our facade. Now they still have great presence but allow our house to be seen better ( and they are healthier, too) - much prettier. A win/ win we would never have thought of had they not developed the fungus. —- I like the flower box that can be seen. If it were mine I would keep it. PS: Nora, that is a beautiful horse you sent !
