Classic Style. Corbels under the "hutch" cabinet we removed drawers that would have set on the counter next to DW. This space has corbels on all hanging cabinets. Could I just use on the glass-doored end unit? Island Shape: ours won't be as big, but would like to try a shape similar to this with seating in the window/door nook and the other end for some storage. Could angle the seating end or create this shape if there is space. Tile: Some sort of subway tile in a lighter color that reads as white, even if it's not exactly white. Do not want a perfectly flat tile. Want something that reflects light from different spots, such as a handcut glazed tile or glazed brick. Perhaps a small "picture frame" detail behind range with a herringbone design framed out in a smaller, same subway tile. Cabinets: White Shaker to the 9 ft. ceiling. Glass doors on some (or all?) within a separate, smaller cabinet door above the hanging cabinets. Add more crown molding if needed. Counters: First choice was soapstone, but London Grey (or Frosty Carrina) Caesarstone may be best in a small kitchen and keeping the counters the same on all surfaces. One of my favorite kitchens. Ralph Lauren Club Navy blue paint on the island. BM White Dove OC-17 on inset Shaker cabinets with slab drawers and nickel pulls from Restoration Hardware. Navy lanterns from "Oomph" (not for my budget, but an great look). Woven French bistro chairs. Light quartz counters (not sure of brand). Wood floors. White backsplash subway tile.
