Trish, you’d be welcome but the weather wouldn’t be so kind, It is cold again today. Where is summer, I heard a weather report last night that said it would be warm and wet. If I wanted to live in the tropics I would move to Qld! I’m looking foward to a maskless society again. So sick of foggy glasses
Flowers, I had Campanula Takesima as well. It was very pretty, but it kept finding its way into the roses, so I wasn’t too upset when it died out due to drought over several years. I’m still looking for C. Alliarifolia seeds or tube stock, also Rotundifolia. That John Davis Rose is beautiful. Colds are a pest at any time, I should be grateful that it is still wintery here; Summer colds are the worst.
We have had to be extra careful because there are several classes at Olivia’s school closed because of C19. among the students. The Government says that they are preparing to vaccinate under 12y/os now. So Melissa has to choose what she wants for Olivia, as if she doesn’t have enough to worry about now, with Lou and me. The Carers‘ agency is very good and sends support staff out to help as necessary, but Melissa bears the brunt of it all, and Lou has been very difficult lately.
Diane, your friends garden is magnificent, I love all the little nooks and crannies. I agree with Trish, all your combined photos and experience would make a terrific book anyone would love to have on their bookshelf or coffee-table..Have you found a place for Rose de Rescht yet?
Christian, you have worked your heart out , haven’t you? I cannot wait to see all the spring bulbs in bloom, what a show stopper your garden will be! I love the penstemons too.
Carol, good to hear you are doing better, glad that your streps have sprouted. Yes, let Don handle the stairs for a while until you are steadier.
Holly, hope you are feeling better now, and you have been able to keep up all your studies. Yes Yes, getting onto Houzz is a chore at present and Apple have just updated my ipad to a new privacy protection app, which doesn’t make things any easier. I was told I was locked out of Facebook access because they had detected people trying to get into my files. I only managed to login last evening. Technology Bah!
I have been listening to Georgette Heyer audiobooks, while I’ve been under the weather. Always a soothing experience. I love her writing style and humour, have done since my teenage years, when I discovered her books and started my collection.
Magpie And Kristine, you still have the teenage years to navigate! enjoy your little ones now! Magpie, that was when my hair went really grey!
Kitty, you sure do have some decisions in front of you, Love and Service as well. I hope you are just enjoying the moment at this time and are very happy, with your new love.
Sara- ann, lovely bouquets and pretty roses, I love Royal William (and all the reds) Royal Amethyst is one I would consider if it was available.
Melodye
