@Shannon H Yes the North Shore Oak was the best we’ve found as far as not being destructive but I don’t have recent samples of it. I do know their newest long boards in the same line are more abrasive. We’re waiting on a floorte Elite sample box. And as for the woman who has older products, yes, I think the older products are ok. When we got Coretec Berlin Pine ( now 2.5 years ago), it was the ONLY one of theirs that has that ultra matte feel that ended up being destructive. But now all the Coretec samples we’ve tried feel that way. We had luck with one older Armstrong sample but then they “updated it” and then it had the new destructive finish to too. Haven’t found any other Armstrong ones that worked and send seems like all their new stuff is too matte. But always just get samples and test anything for yourself! Make sure when you think you’ve narrowed it down to your top choice that you get a sample box from the same lot number that you’d be ordering from (because otherwise the product can change from the time you order your sample to the time of install). Work with your retainer retailer/rep to figure out how to plan all that out when the time comes.
