@Adrienne Roos here is a photo of the installed tile with Custom warm gray grout. the grout is ever so slightly lighter now that it is pretty much dried. I like it, but I wonder if I could have done a lighter grout and still achieved the effect I wanted. the countertop is caesarstone statuario maximo and looks a little darker in photo than in real life, but definitely more gray than the sample I based my decision on which was disappointing. unfortunately, the island which is lighter ( from a different slab) I can't get a good photo of because it's covered in stuff and it's too much to clear right now. the tile definitely reads as soft grays, but it's actually much prettier than the photos show. the color is lighter in real life and creamier/warmer looking.
I edited the photo to make the tile lighter to match more the color in person. the countertop color is probably fairly accurate in this light, but also gets darker when there is less sunlight, and can even take on a light "taupe" color. in brighter lighting, the countertop does look much lighter, but a lot of my countertop is in darker areas of my kitchen. hope this helps.
