I just remodeled three bathrooms and kitchen. I tell a told a story in one bathroom with archietual (sp) drawings of sailboats wallpaper, a boat shaped sink, navy blue cabinet, and tiled shower resembling our stormy coast. The gilr bathroom is pink and blush everywhere, while my bathroom is blush and green. Instaed of heated floors I am opting for ZONE furnace. Sometimes heated floors have problems and the expense is huge to fix.

Agree with heated floors. Living in a cold climate, I will never again do tile, no matter where it is in the house, any other way. Also, two thumbs up to adding storage, but not open bookcase-style as shown in the photo. I don't need to display brick-a-brack in a place I spend just several minutes a day, and most of it in the shower, where I can't admire it anyway. Hidden storage is where it's at for a bathroom.

If you are remodeling a bathroom, moving all the plumbing controls to the opposite wall is expensive. Instead, tell your glass contractor to cut a half-moon in the glass at the level of your faucet controls. Then you can easily slip your hand into the shower to turn on the water without getting wet.

I have no idea why this simple, inexpensive idea has not taken off. I did this to a guest bathroom renovation over ten years ago after seeing it.
