Do you have a photo of the clock? I would keep the sofa centered to the fireplace if you plan on keeping the TV mounted above the fireplace. I would then center a large piece of artwork above the couch (even though its not centered to the wall). You can counter balance the wall with a floor lamp, etc.
Also, your sofa looks deep so I'm not sure this would work, but have you tried mounting your TV on the wall your sofa currently sits in front of and then flank the fireplace with your sofa and the two accent chairs? Then, place the long console table beneath the newly placed TV. Right now there are so many pieces of furniture against the walls. Moving the position of your couch might help the look of the room (assuming your sofa looks right, considering its cozy depth). I would also remove the side table to the left of the fireplace to help alleviate the "too much furniture on the walls" feeling.
