Loving any given thing in isolation, is far different than loving a whole
You've painted yourself into a corner, in the most literal sense......
Now you have to decide: Do I want a cohesive whole that I love with THIS PAINT? If the answer
remains a yes... the wine chair goes, and the current rug goes tat. Why? Because paint is more than just a color slapped on walls, as are shades of ANY color. The rug market knows this and it will be reflected in a material used, in the shade of green that would be paired with another hue, because of.....yup. the color wheel: ) Where you will find orange to rust to red hues directly opposite on that wheel from all the green lime, to grass to olive hues.
Here's a rug with a good example of that harmony: HOWEVER!!!!
Great with walls........not as great with the two sofas, right? That's exactly what happens with isolation selection, for lack of a better term
But..........something like THIS below? NOW.. that puts a ribbon around the mis match and holds it together. .....in a harmonious and intentional way.
