Having carried Bella Cera brand hardwoods for 5 years in Minnesota and given the chance to compare this to many other brands on the market, I will give my opinion. Bella Cera is characterized by their ability to do a very pronounced and randomized hand scraping pattern giving each plank a uniquely distinct look. They carry both Solids and Engineered hardwoods around the $6.00-$7.00/sf retail price range which really hits the sweet spot for balancing affordability and quality. Their focus in design and a well crafted hand scraped hardwood has allowed this brand to quickly become one of the best sellers for us.
Like everything, there are some weaknesses which your average consumers might not have considered. Having started with a higher gloss hand scraped flooring, it has had some trouble of adapting to the newest trends of low gloss matte finish flooring. Low gloss flooring has the benefit of hiding scratches which will accumulate over time. The length of planks for Solid hardwood is random up to 4' which is shorter compared to some of the top premium Solid hardwood brands on the market. Despite some weaknesses, Bella Cera remains a strong brand through their attention to detail and specialized sales channels. If you decide to go with Bella Cera, you will not be disappointed as long as you set your expectations correctly.
