Two chairs and a love seat only accommodate two. - would just be what they prefer. As the sectional accommodates your family, maybe just add an additional comfy chair by window.

Keep the sectional. No one ever wants two people on a loveseat. Your art is hung too high on your walls. Select a console table that is larger in size, but simpler in design for behind the sectional,

A couch and loveseat won’t give you enough seating either. You’ve got that wonderful sectional that I bet the kids love. I would keep it and add one or two chairs in the area to the right of the fireplace. They can have their backs to the TV since you say seating for TV watching is adequate. Choose smaller scale, maybe even swivel so they COULD be turned toward the TV if needed.
