I definitely don’t need one at all - unless I would live at the location of the first picture....

As a battle hardened home renovator I can assure you that no amount of research and education can replace experience with this type of project. There are literally dozens of minute details that if missed can drive you crazy once it is done. GCs will promise anything to get the job. Be sure yours has the experience necessary to do it right.

If you don't, good luck getting any of your money back on it when you sell the house.

Love a good, functioning outdoor kitchen however, having had an ‘inherited’ outdoor kitchen (came with the property) I would NEVER again have a built in grill!
Learned the hard way, if it is built in and the wind comes from the wrong direction (directly from behind the grill), it is flaming nightmare!

Presently building a new outdoor kitchen, sink is a must, also want to have a cook top and oven to keep the indoor kitchen cool in summer and smells out. No built in grill in this outdoor kitchen, it’ll be a BBQ that can be moved (turned, rolled away, whatever) to get out of the wind, so a regular BBQ that you can get anywhere, instead one of the stainless steel monsters, towering over your otherwise functional outdoor kitchen! Oh, and service, if you have one of these outrageously expensive, built in, top of the line BBQ’s - good luck to you…!!!
