This charming guest house is getting gutted. Still a better faith than getting demoed.

Or the opening scenes of The Wizard of Oz when its all black and white in the dust bowl of the Depression. Remember how great it is when Dorothy opens the door and everything is in color? Also, range accents are 20 years dated.

I'd go for color. Orange. Mint. Yellow. Blue. (Not all of them. Just one.) And maybe a cool pattern. Pratt & Larson-->

HELP!! What color to paint exterior siding and porch?
Those are called "Extended stiles"....basically a filler that is ATTACHED to the cabinet. They ordered the cabinets correctly....as loose fillers would leave another SEAM....and that would look bad with inset cabinetry. The cabinets are fine....but the installers should have cut the "extended stiles" a bit more. They are ordered a bit oversized for wiggle room as you designer mentioned. Those wide stiles look bad...both on the uppers and lowers. There's no need to order new cabinets....looks as if there's plenty of stile left over to cut them to fit and LOOK better. Do this before crown molding, tops and tile go in. Waiting for new cabinets will take FOREVER. Do they have a better install crew?
