In this episode of Houzz TV Live, designer Staci Munic gives a tour of her renovated home in Palm Springs, California. Notable local architect William Francis Cody built the original home in the 1960s, but a renovation in the 1980s brought in elements such as glass blocks, curved walls and basic tile that Munic wanted to get rid of.
She removed those curved walls to create a more open and airy great room that she imagines Cody would appreciate. She also replaced dated materials with terrazzo-look porcelain tile floors and wood-look laminate cabinetry throughout the home. Soft textiles and thoughtful artwork emphasize fresh desert modern style.

Great Job, Staci! GO GREEN!!!
Beautiful, and I love the floors! We went with the same size squares in our new apartment, everyone else installed laminate flooring or rectangular shaped floor tiles. I was so worried but after seeing what my neighbors did, I know I did it right. thanks for allowing us a glimpse of your place, just fantastic. :-)
Hi Staci! We just bought a mid-century modern home and are starting to decorate. Thank you so much for sharing your house it is stunning! I was wondering if you could give some details about the laser cut wood panels in the bedroom? I love those!!!
