Our zinnias over the years
2020 batch. This is the first ORANGE zinnia I've sprouted. It's almost the color of a Cheeto. I like the color but the way the leaves are curling up worries me. I started from fresh seed stock this year and scoured the planters. Really hoping I don't end up losing ANOTHER batch to Aster Yellows. I think this particular plant is from the "Cut and Come Again" variety seeds I sprouted.
"California Giant" variety, grown from seed. The petals were a very soft, pale yellow-cream color, somewhere between parchment and peach yogurt. They were also very delicate and thin, to the point where you could almost see through them.
The big ivory/peachy parchment from a few years back.
'nother shot of the planter, this time showing all the plants.
