1. Paneled Perfection
A bed wall with a peaked ceiling is a large area to cover with paint, wallpaper or art. The team at Wendy Mauro Design opted to go a different route for this bedroom in Charleston, South Carolina. The designers added custom paneling that introduces depth and texture to the wall. No art required, just a fresh coat of white paint.

2. Wallpaper Wonder

4. Tall and Tufted
If a vertical headboard is more your style, why not take it all the way up to the ceiling? The design team at Emma Tutill created a custom tufted headboard that runs up to the ceiling in this bedroom in Essex, England. The tufted settee and the foot of the bed complements the headboard.

5. Atmospheric Wallpaper
The custom white shutters in this New York beach house help the owners regulate light coming into the room, but the bed wall covered in an atmospheric wallpaper adds a bright, blue sky inside all day long. Kathy Kuo Designs created this soothing space.

6. Stylish Stripe
Sometimes all it takes is a well-positioned stripe to break up a wall and add a stylish visual note. This Moscow bedroom designed by Julia Kamamina features a thick horizontal strip of gray paint above the bed that transforms the space from simple to sensational.

i was inspired to likewiae create a simple, inexpensive but unique style for my bedroom and so happy and proud with it! Please keep your collection growing ♥️
Take the headboard up to the window, or incorporate window into "headboard" wall (like the one shared above with mirror, but in your style), rather than trying to cover it up. You say you have plenty of light, but from your pictures the room still looks quite dark. (If you don't care for the look of the window, you could update it with a new one in a more modern shape and style.)
Thank to some comments! Some others...yeah ok-
I’m not quite a minimalist....but definitely one to avoid “THE TOO MUCH”...look. I love clean lines, serene calm setting. I had skyline view windows ADDED in my previous home. (1-above bed and one in our masterbath suite. But they were CLEAR VIEW rectangular shaped. It was over this same headboard. If I still had that shape, it would be no issue. This home is actually the same yr built as my previous home-2001. EVERYTHING WAS original when we moved in b4 COVID. $20k later, paint, carpet, new lighting, faucets, all new black door hardware on every door-just to name a few things! Unfortunately changing the window shape is not a simple fix. The home is bricked from literally the ground to the gutters all 4 sides, with a custom tumbled weather light tone brick. I could easily change out the window to get rid of the grid lines which are not my favorite. I love my natural light tho-as to why I know I could easily cover it up with a more modern headboard, but I really don’t want to lose the light. (Covering the window may happen tho). My other home did not have the trayed ceiling either. I may just start with a headboard to meet the lower edge or allow just the curve of the window to show, then go from there. Below is the previous home’s window, Also the headboard I’m leaning towards!
