I've been a member of Gardenweb and now Houzz for about 15 years and have been raising many kinds of cats since then. I haven't been able to visit as frequently as I used to back in the days when I shared violets and milkweed with other people, but now I have to come here to ask a tremendous favor. My daughter, who still lives at home with us, has taken over the Pipevine Swallowtail raising for the most part and uses the Aristolochia macrophylla leaves that are on the plants here that I planted some years back (thank you, Susan, in Oklahoma for the much-appreciated present). Because of your generosity, we've been blessed hosting many PVS almost every year since receiving your pipevine gift. I've never had to "beg" for leaves before from anyone, but the dire situation now makes me feel like I have to. My daughter has at least a thousand PVS that she's raising and came to me awhile ago saying that she knows now that she's not going to have enough leaves to feed all of the hungry PVS mouths.
