It's hard to be sure without being in your whole room if you can make those 2 pieces go together, but I just stared at the chair fabric and the brickwork behind it and tried to figure out how to pack enough green next to or on the chair to make it relate to the table.
I think it needs some noticeable strong whack of blue on the chair or nearby to make it work. The muddy pinks and browns of the fabric and fireplace and yellowy bluey green of the coffee table just are too indisticnt and distant, not matching, but throw in some assertive clean blue as a big punch in the eye and it scrambles the pastels, makes them more subordinate. That modern square patches pillow has all the colors of both the chair and the table, but blown up and rearranged. That's the trick.
But it's a stretch, and I don't know how much you want to stretch to make it work. If you were going to go for it (you're looking at spending $1000 in decor -- but, hey, the chair and table were gifts!) you might think of furthermore uniting the two pieces on the same rug, and bringing more green things up to the mantle and bookshelf area (and some of terracotta down to the coffee table.) And of course why not add a smattering of framed peacocks or pheasants somewhere around the room, the odd tiny bit of Indian art or objects and some chinoiserie. No guarantees and you should keep looking for other great places to put these unique treasures in your house.
