Unfortunately, there is no crisp white that will look good in a room that gets very little natural light. To be successful, white needs light and a lot of it. Better to take a look in the off-white family if you are set on a light colour. Something like BM OC-9 Ballet white which is creamy and very neutral.
The other big thing to consider is lighting. Overhead fixtures mostly create gloom. Use a mixture of task and ambient lighting with lamps and if your want to throw more light around, use that old tried and true trick of placing mirrors near light source to reflect extra light into the room.
Good luck with your project!
