Side by side is best when you’re shorter, and definitely a large utility sink for those litems that need a soaking, cleaning up a humid drum etc. or washing a small dog. There are just some things you don’t want to wash in your bath tub! A counter for folding is a necessity otherwise laundry tends to get left in a pile somewhere.
Terrific use of space in #6. All of the spaces are nice, but #1 has the feel of home. It has such a clean, airy feel with just enough touches of minimal colour. Very well done. 😊
Regarding controls at the bottom of the dryer; Most of of these are stackABLE meaning that they are not necessarily stacked on installation. Putting controls on the bottom would put the controls at floor level if they aren't stacked.
