Great photo, Jim. I hope those big green brains ripen up fast. We are certainly enjoying our tomatoes, but it took a lot of miserable hot weather to get them. How's the laptop doing?
Kitty, beautiful Eustacia and Roald Dahl. I love yellow and pink together, too. What a pair they make. And Kimberly is so sweet and appealing. I must look her up on HMF. She's new to me. I am also excited to see your front door with the new architectural details.
Carol, would you believe we haven't had any BLT yet? Due to the weird diets in my family, it may be another week or so before I make them. I made scratch chicken and biscuits tonight, and it takes forever. It's been hard to post much because of chores and cooking. But we did go out to dinner last night at an excellent Mexican restaurant that was new to me. Then a trip to the Dollar Store. Boy, inflation has been hard on them. The candy department was awful, and of course, that's where I head. We've had some crazy weather with lots of wind again and a horrible downpour of rain. I love the rain, but this was coming down in sheets, not typical Idaho rain. Still, the next day, I didn't seen any damage. Do you think Holly would prefer living nearer to you? I do think she needs a kitty, and Kedra could take antihistamines. I say this as a cat lover and one who has awful allergies. Mine are more plant pollen allergies and other stuff. It's always worse for me from April-Oct. Anyway, I was sorry to read about Holly's problems. Which become your problems, too. I hope you're doing well. And your back is better. We're in for another big heat wave, just as I was getting used to the cool high 80s. My poor roses. Evelyn is starting another flush again. Just like she did in July. Why doesn't she just rest. And Augusta is oranger than Orange Julius. The heat is really messing her up. So frustrating. Well, time to get another station watered on the drip. Diane
Tamora, ever blooming sweet, small rose.
