I also love the GIR spatulas, which are in super pretty colors and all silicone so you can put in the dishwasher. They fit perfectly in a stocking, or go along with other kitchen gifts!
Thus year I may not be able to give out gifts, but some things I have given as gifts in the past include: glass lazy susans abd glass cake pedestals. I usually take a set of pot holders, oven mittens, and dish towels fit fir the hiliday season to the family dinners as hostess gifts.
I second a good Dutch oven. I've been using the same 5 qt Lodge one for more than 15 years and love it so much that I invested in an 8 qt oval and a 4 qt round recently. Even though there are only 4 in our family, my teenage son has a huge appetite so I'm using the 8 qt more than I expected. Once you use a good Dutch oven you never go back.
