Young people may still need this stuff, which is fine. Older folks are probably deaccessioning their stuff and may not want more. For them, consumables may be best. Coffee, chocolates, or a nice coffee cake for the next morning all work well. I like to do my own flowers, right out of my own garden, so while I can always find a place for more flowers hostess gift flowers may not fit my plan quite right. If flowers are dropped off earlier in the day though, I can work them into my decor beautifully. Wine is always useful but the bottles I notice most are from places recently visted by the guest. That opens up delightful conversation.
Candles are my favorite ! ESP cedar scented during the holidays
Great ideas! Thanks!
