You work quickly and are good at this. Your mother would be proud!
I would search for inspiration pics in places other than Houzz. As you can see from the comments, many people here can't think outside the box and think you have to stick with strict definitions of design categories. I think your vision is more sophisticated that most inspiration pics posted on this site.
My first thought for your space was cow hide rug. I think you can let your boho passions live in specific pieces that are evocative of that style yet use them minimally and with constraint. I stayed in an Air BnB cabin a few weeks ago and they did just that - boho elements mixed with MCM clean lines. They had a cow hide rug and a brown leather poof with interesting stitched pattern that was rather boho and it looked great in the space that was full of clean lined furniture. Plus they had some animal horns on the coffee table and other boho elements too. It was a gorgeous, serene space. The items looked similar to these:
Good sources for your inspiration:
CB2. I think they are particularly good at the restrained boho look.
Check out the House Beautiful home tour of CB2 President's house. There are not many boho pieces, but some similar hallmarks of chunky throws and rugs and rattan lighting pieces mixed with other styles and I think it is a good 'think outside the box' set of pics.
Also, check out Architectural Digest site. I often find really high end designers know well how to mix styles and I do see some boho elements creeping into clean minimal spaces there.
Here's an article on Minimal Boho Decor.
The 6th pic in this slide show of boho without going overboard shows a grey sofa with a mix of boho pillows. Could be a good guide for you if you want to introduce some more color or pattern.
Also do a google image search for Scandinavian boho living rooms and you will find some clean lined boho looks.
Keep posting pics. Can't wait to see how your space turns out.
