the challenge will be w the backsplash IMO. I would get a basic java or kaffe oak lower cab......itll be gorgeous butting to your floor...then a light counter and white for the wall cabs altho you dont care for painted white......with some glass doors and great hardware it will play nicely and let whatever backsplash is placed in there really play off the tile vibe because of the floor...... Coordinate the tiles in the 2 spots.......its key and will be beautiful. .
heres a beauty....with white uppers floating up to the ceiling and a simpler white counter and pounce on very dark or darkish lowers. then hardware of course. good luck.
I would not hesitate to go this dark w the lowers but it would be too much up the walls I think.
maybe this island stain shade gives you more comfort as not quite as dark. the walls look nice w the tile and glass doors and white to the ceiling. very pretty.
