I finally cut up my 10' (I thought it was 8') flokati rug. I made two 3'x5' rugs. Took those to laundry mat and used the largest front loader available. Even threw them in the dryer. They look great! They do mat up and we do get our toes caught in the fibers ever now and then, which is a concern. But they look so good I hate to get rid of them. I have plenty of rug left over and will be making another small one to put under a chair in the guest room. So don't be afraid to take the scissors to yours if you need to adjust the shape or size.

I have two gorgeous, new flokati rugs I purchased recently from flokati-rug.net in NJ. They are gorgeous! Thick pile, very minimal shedding, and easy to clean based on the one time my cat tossed up on it. I do have some concerns about imbedded dander and fur, especially since they're really large and heavy. But planning on giving them a good whacking one summer day soon. Amazing look for minimal cost.
