this could be a nice combination for us. This Taj Mahal is a quartz, not a quartzite or granite
thinking about rolling kitchen island on hardwood floor
roll out regular seat heigh table built into an island or peninsula
rolling seating
OMG moveable island!
very pretty. I would not invest in this tile though, would keep it neutral. Would be nice to change bathtub to accessible shower. if one of us were wheelchair bound it would be nice to change bathroom sink to accessible and change bathroom door to pocket door, and probably move sink over from toilet
easy entry privacy wall is nice but we don't need i would use a shower curtain
yes! i hope to have a pull-out
i like the flow of this taj mahal quartzite countertop
I like the warm cabinet color (cherry with pecan finish apparently) and the way the cabinets work with glass inserts. I like the tones of the countertop and backsplash. EXCEPT I would skip the band of glass tile at bottom of backsplash and do either oversize rectified tiles, and a granite or quartzite countertop
beautiful cabinet color, lighter than walnut but would still contrast with light oak floors***cool recycling idea: insulated copper door to outside recycling bin!
River white granite
Taj mahal quartzite counter which I like (if I don't go with Dekton). I would do it with gloss finish for durability and bull nose edges. The tile is bone color. I like that too. Would choose oversize tiles and keep backsplash very simple. Same oversize tiles behind the stove. I like the color of the top cabinets especially since I plan to have all glass fronts on the back kitchen wall that faces the livingroom. I want all cabinet fronts to be flat. Simple hardware, not sure of color. Faucet would be chrome or brushed nickel or another easy-care unobtrusive finish that's easy to match. Would get a porcelain type sink instead of the farmhouse.
apparently the granite may be Copenhagen. Not bad...need to see in person tho
hmm
interesting, maybe too much contrast in the slab
nice
nice movement in the stone color might work
Large tiles on backsplash
Nice backsplash behind hood
I like the big tiles with little grout
warm colors
this is the version i did back in march with the window staying in place...i have not figured out where i'd keep what yet...Lakshmi, what do you think of the general layout, and what might you change?
some nice color combos here
are these stainless steel cabinets? at least, the bottom ones? could be nice to have stainless steel fronted drawers on bottom cabinets that don't face out into the living room. IKEA sells them I think.
another view of the kitchen with the hidden hood. hmmm.... for one thing what will that wood look like in a few years due to proximity to cooking oils etc...? even tho outer cover of hood
So it looks like they built a box to hide the hood? I like the look of it...
I like what they did with the wood trim on the hood. IKEA has Ekestad cabinets in a similar color which could possibly work for us, especially if we used a lot of glass fronted doors for top cabinets to keep the feeling lighter...even possibly taking glass front doors and hanging the ones just above counter vertically, and the top row horizontally. Top row would have LED lights and be used to display ceramic and wood art.
Linoleum sheet floor looks interesting here
Color looks good. Curious about Dekton . Used by a lot of pro chefs lately. Seems easier to clean well than quartz
Beautiful. What about home securitybwith all that glass-or is it polycarbonate?
Have thought about some stainless steel drawers under counterbin high wirknareas that aren’t immediately seen from living room
Metal mesh inserts
I like the insert for breaking up the dark surface of the cabinets
I like the darker wood frames with the frosted glass and light cabinet interiors thebwalnut lower cabinets are beautiful. I like that the door fronts are smooth. Handles are gorgeous but what’s it like to clean them I wonder
I like having the lower eating surface so normal height chairs can be used. In our house we plan to pull our long, narrow walnut table up to the counter to perform the same function and add character from the beautiful finish and turned legs.
Interesting having the windows extend down to countertops
I like the simplicity and the different wood tones
size is good, price lower than some, white is ok i think
depth and dimensions are nice. bisque could work. I like the grate...
light fixtures and cabinets
Finishes!
