I can’t see where a window box would go and IMO your siding needs to be a darker color to blend better with the brick As for plantings these are good ideas of foundtaion plantings . It would be nice to see pictures of the house to really give advice.

Boxwoods are a good choice as well as some junipers. You can layer it with various perrenials to give it some depth . Best wishes!
