Remodel finally finished! Here are a few photos in case it helps others
We couldn't be happier with everything! The silestone calacatta gold is bright and white and the veining is present and lovely, looks like marble to untrained eye. The splurge of doing it behind stove is amazing and makes clean up so much easier than regular backsplash with grout lines...
Our beach house is exactly what we wanted: light, bright and airy
We have Diamond cabinets (bought at The Kitchen Store in Culver City) solid plywood: Bright White Shaker and Grey Mist Shaker in Bar
Calacatta Gold 3 jumbo slabs 2cm polished (bought from Pacific Shore Stone in Oxnard from Susan) - mitered edges
3 slabs was enough for entire kitchen including waterfall feature and behind stove, plus bar countertop oh and we did a cap on a pony wall by bar in living room with leftover
Planet Stone in sun valley did install & fabrication
Paint is Behr - ultra bright white on ceiling, Silent White on walls, and Hailstorm Grey on accent wall to the right of the peninsula waterfall
Delta faucet in champagne bronze, and RH for handles/pulls/knobs/pendants
Backsplash is from Tileco in Ventura and is a white honed marble herringbone called oriental - We had tile guy also seal the marble after installation
We had a great contractor, Motti from Eternity Construction -he is based in valley but luckily was willing to work in Malibu :-)
