Kitchen: Eat-in Area
Eat-in area could be adjacent to/sharing same general space as the conversation chair area, or totally separate from the conversation chair area.
The eat-in table could partially share the wall with a long row of cabinets (lowers only with windows above the cabinets), with the eat-in area falling at the end of that row (see pics).
Alternatively, I love a rounded room (see pics). I wonder if we could make that work for the eat-in area.
I also love a table in front of a long wall of large floor-to-ceiling windows, as shown in many of the pics in this ideabook.
I like the idea of the room having some visual/architectural separation, but definitely would like it to be totally open to the rest of the kitchen, not its own chopped off room.
If the eat-in area involves a built-in bench, I’d like the bench on just 1 side, with seating for a total of 6 (2 on bench, 4 on chairs).
If no built-in bench, it could be seating for just 4 (unless you think 6 is better in general for resale).

Love this- kind of a round-ish room, still open to kitchen but visually separated a little bit with the moulding at the entrance to the area. It's its own separate room, but close to kitchen with great flow. Just cozy enough, but open and bright. Love that it's formal enough to have dinner with guests. Love shape, molding windows, bead board ceiling etc
